Do You Know the British Airport Travel Restrictions?
The British airport travel restrictions have changed and what you can take on a plane now at Heathrow airport or Gatwick airport is limited for both hand luggage and laptop size baggage.
This is from new regulations thanks to an exposed plot to take over the planes discovered by security. The heightened security is for your own protection. You must learn what you can take onto the airplane before you get on board or try to go through security. There are several things that are not permitted and you should be aware of them.
First, you need to know that liquids and of course knives and sharp objects are not allowed.
What you can take on a plane is laptop size baggage and hand luggage like you did before, but it will be searched according to British airport travel restrictions. Heathrow airport, Gatwick airport and many more companies are getting involved in making sure you stay safe while flying. There are plenty of lists out there and available at each airport to let you know which objects you can not bring.
Don’t bring liquid or any food items past check point, this includes water bottles, baby formula, toothpaste and all that sort of stuff. If you have specific needs and medication, make sure you bring your prescription with you and a number to call your doctor.
You will also need to check with British airport travel restrictions if you are going to be flying into Heathrow airport or Gatwock airport for any reason.
The same restrictions are followed everywhere else too these days, including the use of laptop size baggage and hand luggage that you will bring onto the plane. Make sure you know exactly what you can take on plane before you get to the airport.
